After the Forest and Rivers Open Studios Art Trail I’m planning new directions. My garage was made to look good by my family. Walls painted, redundant wardrobe painted and hooks added for display, shelves and lighting and a selection of old rugs on the floor. It served the purpose very well and my displays looked professional and the space was adequate. So after all that I can’t just let it revert to a garage. From now I will use it for messy jobs. Indian wood block printing, colouring fabric, dyeing and so on. The garage is modern and new and actually big enough for me to invite fellow crafters to join in the fun. Perhaps the first thing I will share with friends and colleagues is my wonderful stash of wood blocks which serve well as designs for hand embroidery.
