Making Samples

Been a little slow with my course work over the last few weeks as I’ve concentrated on some crazy quilting I’m preparing for a coffee table runner to brighten the colour scheme in my new house. Not ready to put on here yet though.

So slow progress on my Hand Embroidery course for the City & Guilds stage 3 I’m currently doing. But here are the latest images of what I’ve done most recently.

Waiting on my craft table are the two additional samples I have to do. Canvaswork and Goldwork. Both totally new to me and I’m having to read up and buy specific materials for these. But I’ve been good and put my favourite crazy quilting away for the time being while I press on with these two remaining samples from Module 4, which once finished will be a marker for a third of the coursework.
